A look back at NEPAW

All thanks to you and your consistent outreach to your donor base, partner outreach this National Estate Planning Awareness Week generated $22,600,000 in bequest commitments! This is up from $13,900,000 raised in the same campaign last year.
NEPAW provided us with some valuable learnings that can help you build your most robust campaigns yet in 2023:

Educational framing drove the most traffic, while emails with testimonials drove bequests at the highest rate. → Takeaway: If you haven’t already, identify a donor testimonial to include in your next FreeWill outreach.

Repeating a campaign can benefit you. More than 80% of partners that repeated the NEPAW campaign for the second+ time received at least one gift. → Takeaway: Don’t be afraid to repeat a campaign year-over-year. We’ll keep the copy fresh, and the campaign itself resonates!

More data from you means more learnings for your next campaign. About 25% of partners sent in post-campaign data, which means we can only learn from about ¼ of your outreach. → Takeaway: Please keep sharing open rates, click-through-rates, and other information with your Strategist so we can inform our ongoing campaign content strategy and keep you educated on best practices that will help you succeed.

New Portal Training
New Portal is now the default view when accessing your FreeWill data and results online. It provides new ways to access your data, evaluate results, track your FreeWill donors, and streamline your stewardship workflow. We’re excited to share an informative training for anyone at your organization who uses the Partner Portal to access FreeWill data.

An image speaks a thousand words!

Partners with any type of FreeWill Featureship are now showcased with a custom, eye-catching image and logo. As prospective donors move through the will flow, using an image and logo gives your organization heightened visibility, brand recognition, and overall exposure to help capture new donors and spread your mission. Either your custom site image, or a stock image was used for this feature card. To review or update your image, please reach out to your Strategist.

Stock Landing Page Update
|
|
With recent updates to the Stock Tool landing page, supporters gifting stocks and securities can more easily find their preferred method of gifting. When supporters click “Donate stock today”, they will see three options for giving and receive clear instructions for their chosen path.
