The FreeWill Print Marketing Library is here, just in time for your end-of-year campaign planning!
The library has fully designed templates for brochures, postcards, and more. Each template has Freewill best practices baked in, with a clean, modern design to make customizing simple and straight-forward. Launching a direct mail campaign has never been easier!

So how does it work?

Head over to the FreeWill Print Marketing Library (which is easily accessible via your Partner Portal)

Choose a template, such as the permanent gift guide or the stocks postcard

Follow the link to open the customizable template in Canva (a free user-friendly online design software)

Customize the template to match your organization's logo, brand colors, images, and more
-
Choose a way to print: either through Canva, your desktop, your preferred vendor, or a local print shop

Our inital templates are focused on helping organizations integrate gifts of non-cash assets into their end-of-year campaigns and in-person events. Upcoming Changes to Legacy Gift Notifications
Changes to Legacy Gift Notifications are in the works! We are excited to share that starting on October 2nd, 2023, you’ll receive one daily gift notification for all of your legacy gifts (including outside bequests and gift changes!). This change comes from partner feedback to reduce noise in the inbox, while also accommodating additional types of gifts, including non-probate assets, outside bequests, deceased donors, and changes to gifts! The changes will start on October 2nd and we’ll share more information when we get closer to the date of the change! For partners with our Smart Giving Suite, those gift notifications will not change at this time.

Charitable Gift Annuity Calculators Now Available on FreeWill's Planned Giving Websites!
Charitable Gift Annuity calculators are now available on our Planned Giving Websites! Embed this interactive tool on your Planned Giving Website so site visitors can use it to calculate the income and tax benefits available to them through a CGA, and better understand how the gift benefits your organization. Learn more about how the CGA calculator works from our Nonprofit Training Lead, Lauren Winther-Hansen, and reach out to your Account Manager to discuss how a Planned Giving Website can help educate your donors on additional ways to give.

Starting next week, our partners will receive an email asking for feedback on your experiences and partnership with FreeWill. We value your feedback and encourage you to take a few minutes to share your thoughts — both positive and negative! — as they help to inform changes to our products and processes. For example, our changes to Legacy Gift notifications (highlighted in the Product Corner above) came directly from feedback YOU provided.

More than 680 partners participated in our Make-A-Will Month campaign by sending outreach to their supporters — and the early results are in. Our partners raised over $415 million through charitable bequests, with $53 million coming from outreach. Thank you to every partner who participated in Make-A-Will Month, and stay tuned for more learnings!
